On the 3rd of December 5/6H put together a Mass/Liturgy for the whole class to enjoy and reflect upon. We got into groups of 2 boys and 2 girls from both year levels. We chose an important part of the mass to present in the liturgy. The roles were Introductory rites, Liturgy of the word, Sharing of a meal, Prayers of the faithful and Concluding rites.
Every group did an amazing job and once it was put together we could see all the effort and hard work everyone put in. In the preparation of the Liturgy some groups had to find a Reading or Gospel passage in the Bible to present, other groups had to find hymns and symbols. The Introductory rites group put together the scenery and the opening prayer/hymn, Sharing of a meal group put in the effort to bring in pita bread from home to share with the class as a resemblance of the Holy Bread. Thank you to everyone for making this mass very successful and it was a delight to watch.
